Does anyones walker dealer have the walk behinds in? If so have you test driven one?
All the dealers around here I've talked to said they aren't going to get any.
My dealer says the Walker walk behind won't be out till April or May....
He hasn't even seen them, yet.
I test drove one last year and even got to speak with Bob Walker about it. I really like the "cruise control" switch on it. Would I buy one....I don't think so. Walker mowers were built to collect grass and for it's size, it's probably best in the industry (my opinion, not challenging anyone), but I think they should stick to that. They do make a good 52" SD deck thought.
tried one at Schmidts & Serafines in Waterbury CT. I own a 52
Lesco and a 52 Toro. The price was 3800 for power unit + a deck
the 52 belt drive is 2200. Should be compared to Exmark Turf
tracer. If the snow blower is used a 15hp snow machine is awesome. Ed
Just picked mine up today from the dealer. I ordered it about three weeks ago. I went with the 42" mulching deck. I like the fact that it has the same great interchangeable floating deck design as the riders. The twin cylinder 15 horse kawi engine is very smooth and quiet. Nice electric cruise control and hour meter that tells you when to service. The hydros are very sensative right now. I hope they smooth out some after break in.
