Been doing some searches on Walker Mowers and have not found an answer to this....

Will a Walker w/ the GHS deck vacuum up clippings and small debris off of hardscaped areas? Can I mow/bag the turf and then go down a sidewalk or on a driveway or parking lot and suck up the clippings left from string trimming and edging?

    Thanks for any help.

I do with my 20hp walker, the lower the deck of course the better the pick up, it seems to do better in reverse than forward.

No, not very well. It will blow more off the sidewalk more than it will actually vacuum them off.

Ditto to what Matt said, it will suck up a little but blow most of it around. Fire up your leaf blower it will be more effective if you're looking for neatness!!!!

Someone told me they would clean paved areas as good as turf areas. I've never demoed one, so I was curious if it was true. Most of my props are cut at 2.25" . Maybe that would make a little difference like KELS said. The lower the better?
