walkers and doubles

    can you use doubles on the ghs walker model?

    They work great on the mulching deck. Dunno why you would need them on the GHS.

    Like Brickman, I too question your desire for doubles on the GHS.

    If you are looking to reduce clippping size in order to pack more into the hopper consider Gator-style blades (I think Stens has as pair under the Einstein line do a search here).

    I have used them and they do help somewhat but because the grass spends realatively little time under the deck before getting sucked into the hopper the effect is minimal. However, in leaf season they are very handy in combination with the no-catch deflector.

    You mentioned using gators for leaf cleanup. Where can I get gators for the 48" deck. I have a landscaper supply catalog and they don't carry them for that. Thanks

    Like I said, Stens carries them. Check with your dealer, most dealers have access to Airens/Stens parts.
