Anybody have any experience with a "walking stick bush"? like how fast they grow, kind of soil, sun/shade etc.. I got a two foot one in the mail today and put it in the ground with what they sent, wondering if I should do anything to the soil, there were no instructions. Thanks.

Thanks JNyz, I already planted it in a area with just that, half sun/shade, however, I didnt know about the sand. Since I didnt add sand,is there a fert. I should use?

10-6-4 fert but wait till the fall. soil is made up of sand silt and clay, no need to add sand unless all clay
