    I try to get another pic. for size reference this is straight down at a lawn mowed at 3"

    Looks like Pennsylvania smartweed to me, also. Usually grows taller in shrub beds and flowers. Has the red flowers and seeds at this time of year.

    I agree. I have that on the edges of the rows in my orchard. Glyphosate and T-zone will not kill it. T- zone by itself works better.

    Easy to just pull out when I see one.

    If I saw it around here I'd think it was knotweed. But I am not familiar with PSW.

    if its smart weed it dies pretty easy, it hard to tell by the photo it gets steamy this time of the year.
