I know I should know this but I'm swallowing my pride and asking you guys.
I am not an expert but it looks like quack grass to me.
It looks alot like quack but the seedhead doesn't match up.
Looks like goosegrass to me. Are the stems flat instead of round?
definitely not Goose grass. I am very familiar with that.
And you thought everyone would know this. I believe we have the same thing up here in Wisconsin. I do not know what it is other than a grassy weed. We pull a little by hand where it makes sense. And hit the others with Quinclorac.
I see it so often I figured everyone but me knew what it was, I've seen certain pics of yellow nuts edge that match up except for the seedhead
