Oh, and by the way, get ready for some snow work.
I scrubbed the snot out of my snowblower and put it away today. ;)

Have you seen the forecast? I probably should have looed before I broke out the hose.

I have been toying with the idea of buying enough stihl pieces to get fleet pricing. I believe you need to purchase 10 items to get it. I am looking for 3 pieces, and I believe travis is looking for 2 or 3. At that point we are close. If anyone is interested, let me know!

Yea it's 10 Stihl pieces. We just bought 12 pieces from Jeff at Penn Hills Rental and it's 10% off. We also placed a large mower order at the same time, so we did get a better deal on the Stihl stuff too. But if your just getting Stihl, it's 10%. Jeff is a good guy, I'm sure he will help you out!

My dealer gives me 10% off as well, so I think that is the fleet discount. Shindaiwa is doing 20% off right now as well...but you don't need to buy but one unit for that price through Shindaiwa.

They were supposed to have their spring special this week, but had to bump it back. I went up looking to get all my supplies for the year at the usual 10% off equip & 20% off everything else only to find that it was postponed.
He gave me the 10/20% discount anyway which was nice.

Not that I think it's such a great deal though because I seem to have gotten about that much knocked off every piece of equipment I've gotten there at any time of year - "sale" or not. (I'm a "small fish" solo operator by the way)

I was quoted $289 for the FS90R in the fall and it cost me $299 the other day (annual price increase) which is 10% off the suggested dealer price of $329.

For those interested he said the official 10/20% off sale will start in a week or so.
I'll probably think of a few more small things to go back and get.

Yea he is pretty good at helping everyone out with pricing. Even if we need one or two things he gives us 10-20% off like you said. Glad to hear he gave you money off even though it wasn't the sale yet. We had our mechanic put together a very large list of misc. parts and things that we are going to get during the sale. 20% off 30 weedwacker head inserts will be a nice savings haha

So much for all that snow. Again.

At least I didn't clean my snowblower for nothing. :)

Was very glad to see that little snow, got a bit of salting in and didn't have to hook up my plow. Good day, 50's tomorrow, snow will melt.

Too bad we can't get used to it, looks fairly chilly at night for a while. I'm itching to get back to work!
