Lucky for you guys! It was a complete wash out for me this morning, didn't expect it to clear up for the afternoon though so I took my stepdad to pick up his truck.
We've got bills to pay and my boss has lots of work...good situation for us and our employer.
Dame was it cold today
Some of you north of the city may have not been in the rain band. My rain guage has over 2" since late Sunday. Rain has been falling, albeit lightly at times, most of the time since late Sunday. It is raining now, but there may be a break later tonight.
We needed some moisture to keep things growing, but this has been enough to soak very well. Never has the rainfall been heavy or a drencher, so runoff should have been minimal.
We did not get out either yesterday, or today. Sooooo, we are very far behind in the week's schedule. The forecast for tomorrow for this area looks the same as today. I surely hope that will not be the case, and we can get back to work tomorrow.
Summer looks like a wrap. Just checked my weather app. on my phone for the forecast this week, low 40's for later this week as nighttime temps. Up north near my camp it will be in the 30's.
