well i am not going to give you my numbers for the day but i received a $350 dollar tip for this job today. the tip paid fro my new hedge trimmer i bought for this job.

anyway, what would you have charged for trimming some 3-4 foot high bushes (medium size, no cleanup), about 30 foot long by 8 foot high bushes, planting 4 flats of impatiants after weeding the bed, weed a large bed about 30-40 foot long then spread 2 yards of mulch over that. i also put together her solar lights and stuck them in the front bed along the walkway but that was for free. it came out very good, i will take some pictures this week for you.

Best I got ever was $200. Last week $75 tip plus the guy paid the rest of the job in cash. Other wise you did good. See what other work you can do for the guy.

I got a $200 tip last week! My first retaining wall, he loved it.

I could never have done it without this forum (how the heck could I have even bid it?)

When some of you old timers out there read some of the crud on this forum and wonder why do you bother... know there are some clowns like me reading it all and trying to keep playing by the industry norms... trying to learn!

    Thanks y'all!!! I appreciate it!
