I want to spray some cool season baseball fields in April. I want something that will control white clover with 1 app. I am thinking of combining Threesome with Drive XLR* . Maybe this will also get the early germinating crab. Drive requires mentholated seed oil.
Should I go with the label rate for all 3? In April, in Central KY?

If using an ester base three-way then no MSO is needed. However I think you'd be better served using a three-way mix containing either triclopyr or fluroxypyr to get complete control of the white clover with a single app vs. adding quinclorac.

If you primary target is white clover, all you need to app is the xlr8. I have attained excellent results on large lawns with xlr8 to control crabgrass and clover, black medic, yellow woodsorel. etc. I wish it was not so expensive!
