what ad deals do you offer?

    I recently sent out postcards. Pretty much just a large business card listing my services. Do you guys do an deals. First month free when sign year contract or first application half off? Just curious what you guys have found to bring the most business without hitting the pocket too hard.

    I usually give a 1 time offer of 10% off what ever month they choose throu out a year of service with us.

    Your services offered plays a big part in this, but here's a few pointers...

    1. Percentages do not hold as much value to a reader as dollar figures (especially in the service industry).

    2. "12 for the price of 10" has a different effect than "2 for free".

    3. "free" is America's favorite word

    4. Expiration dates should be left in the retail world (learned this the hard way).

    5. Giving away something tangible has proven more effective than discounts.

    Hope this helps. Again, I am speaking from my own experiences and I'm sure there will be people with different opinions. There is certainly no "perfect formula" for advertising.
