Real easy question fellas. What are doubles I keep hearing about? Would these work on my Yazoo mini max Z?

What size of deck on that Yazoo of yours do you have?

    Picture is of double blades.

doubles refers to putting 2 blades on each spindle rather than 1 dont know how well it works cause i've never had to use them

2 blades on 1 spindle, instead of the usual one, put in an X pattern to help cut the grass "better".

"Better" depends upon your mower, the mower deck, height and wetness of grass, horsepower of mower engine, and type of blades being used along with sharpness of blades.........

If you do a search, you will be reading about doubles until 2004. (there is that much to read.......)

The 22" probably won't have enough power to adequately power doubles(just guessing at your engine hp). It may slow the blade speed significantly to a point where it is cutting worse than with just singles. Usually doubles are placed on larger, more powerful commercial equipment.
