What are you not putting up with this year.

    I know.

    Definitely agree that its better to invest properly, but it is possible for a LCO to build considerable equity.

    this obviously isn't the case else they would not be doing it

    really what it comes down to is they are making their own wages and the only thing left over is just enough to pay the bills

    if your lco is making millions every year it could he sold foot quite a bit. there are some like that around here

    and frankly ATM I'm one of the guys you are taking about. I do profit. or at least I make enough to have a slight chance at feeding my family

    This is why procut's thread should be a sticky. I read the whole thread, there is A LOT of useful information that new guys could benefit from.

    As for grossing 30k per year for the business..... I would work for someone else, unless I had a very large nest egg, or did this as a supplement to a regular job/pension.

    There is a company around here. That has 3 locations here in West Michigan. They did I think 10 million in sales and Brickman was going to buy them out if they could hold the sales at 10 million for 3 years. I think they lost a huge contract and never ended up staying at 10 million.

    Note: This is all hear say, I'm not sure if the numbers are completely correct.

    Not putting up with slow payers (dropped one already)
    Not driving 30 miles out of the way to clear $20
    Will pass on PITA yards
    Will stick to minimum gate fee

    You would be surprised where I find dog doo doo in my own back yard with my two dogs...let alone customer's back yards
