Good thread! I agree with all of it. Been thru most of it. I don't really have any complaints any more.
I kind of look forward to customer complaints now. Like a customer says, "I don't really like the way the lawn looks..." I answer "ME NEITHER!", how about a weed&feed with core aeration? Do you want your trees pruned? Want me to bleach your sidewalks? Basically, HOW MUCH MONEY DO YOU HAVE?"
i'm not gonna put up with dirt/grass that has grown 6" or more over the curb or sidewalk because it's been neglected for years!!!
oh wait nevermind. i just did one of those jobs yesterday.
Dont know your situation but I know your business will run a whole lot better
I'm not gonna put up with employees not getting along with each other or there negative attitudes. When I see a problem I'm gonna talk to them about it right away so it doesn't become big problems down the road. I'm also going to try to keep up with customer communication as much as possible.
People that don't want to be on a regular schedule.
i have a shovel like that. accept its more rusted.
