Not sure why Bobcat wasn't in the runnings so I had to vote "other"
Main reasons? The 3 C's:
Cash, Color & Cut
yeah the polls only allow 20 options and i was trying to remember all of the brands. the main brands i missed so far are kubota and bobcat. it looks like scag is catching up to exmark in the poll. i think most of the members haven't voted yet.
Vote is in... Exmark!!! Right now anyway...
can't believe there is only one hustler guy on here
Hustler Z's right here, I got a great deal on 2010 closeout Z. But I think Exmark and Scag are equally great built mowers with Hustler.
We run Scag Hydo-Walkbehinds, would like to add an Exmark Turf Tracer next.
Then again, my Dad's crew he runs uses all Husqvarna PZ's and they seem really durable, rugged. He thinks they are more rugged than a Hustler. My 0.02 cents
My vote goes to Walker. I bought a brand new toro z master 60" for $8k and I like them more than the other large deck zero turns, but I have two walkers and will keep buying them because they cut and clean up so nicely. Its not always about speed.
ferris icd decks
I really like the Ferris IS3000 and IS3100. I've been using them for years and just bought another one last month. Great mowers, in my opinion.
My dealer network is so limited here. No Exmark, Scag, Hustler or Grasshopper . I had a fleet of John Deere's that I absolutely hated with a purple passion. After four years of fighting with that green crap I sold all of them and replaced them with Snapper Pro's. One of the best business decisions I've made in a long time.
I would probably buy Exmark or Scag if they had a dealer presence here, too bad.
