I notice in some yards I mow they have grass and weeds growing in flower beds and cracks in the driveway. I had an employee at Home Depot tell me I can spray anything they sell in the store. My question is do I need a license to spray round up? Is there anything else I can put in a spray bottle to use when I mow a lawn?.

Laws vary from state to state, some have limited provisions for LCOs. To stay out of trouble check the local regulatory agency. Even weed n' feed can land you in trouble under certain laws. If you are in a competative area and a competitor sees you're taking from his business and he is liscened you may get turned in. Just take the test and get it overwith and no worries.

In our state,You need a licence to spray for hire registered or not.

A homeowner can spray their own lawn with those hardware store pesticides

Here in NC you will need a license, unless you are doing your own yard. Go get the license it not that hard

NC law does cover it ....What he needs to do is check the NC Dept of Ag and the NC Landscaping Contractors Board

There is a new test cause the old one was for idiots, but most of it is common sense anyhow. Good Luck!!!

The right answer to your question is--WATER-- to put anything else in your tank and spray it for someone else you need a licence. Statesville has a test date each month. Drive up and take the test. Call Jennie Farrell at 919-515-3113 in Raleigh and she will send you the study books. I think the books were $25 when I got them a few years ago

There's a reason this guy is working at Home Depot, instead of working for himself...
