I like my old Stihl farm boss. Ive had it for 5 years cutting about 8 to 10 quards of wood every year and the saw has held up well with just regular maitance and service.

From my stand point Ive sold Stihl and Echo chainsaws in the past. I would much rather use the Stihl in most cases. The biggest advantage of an Echo is that it has a 5 year warranty. There bigger saws are really nice. The Stihl on the other hand seems to be more versitile, and has more bang for the buck. I personally use a 520 echo around the house. Its great for occasional use.
