Does the 22296 have a right-sided discharge chute? Or, does it have the (inferior) rear chute?

Rear chute. Has worked well for me. Has it been an issue for you? How so?

Side-discharging out of the right side results in better clipping dispersal.

This is a moot point if one mostly bags &/or mulches.

Then there are the times when the turf is damp/wet (or when extra tall) and one needs to mow concentrically (in racetrack fashion) to avoid remowing the clippings. Counter-clockwise & side-discharging out of the right side is superior to clockwise rear-discharge through a chute to the left.

My comments are food for thought. I do have a ton of experience w/ Toro SR4s...though they are not among Toro's Commercial lineup. If Toro offers a right-sided side-discharge Commercial model, I'm unaware.
