started out this year purchasing a 2yd stainless steel sander, but the year got more expensive as it went on. Ended up with:

1983 Mack cab over sweeper and a sweeping business
    60" Exmark Lazer Z
Echo split boom trimmer w/edger attatchment
    Echo power pruner
5x10 trailer for leaf vac, replaces trailer totaled in accident
1995 1 ton chevy dump w/plow, replaces truck totaled in accident
    Copier for office
    misc. hand tools
    stihl br 400 backpack blower
    and misc. smaller items needed

for the winter blues a 1998 Polaris 440 snowmobile w/low miles
and a triton aluminum snowmobile trailer

and also ended up with a slightly peeved off girlfriend which came mostly after the snowmobile........LOL

so far for next year I ordered an Exmark Ultra-vac and am wishing for an 18 foot enclosed trailer and a new diesel pickup

........and really in my dreams is some good help

Chuck, maybe you should e-mail this thread to some potential sponsor's of this site. It might give them an idea of the buying power of this group..
    GM, Ford, Dodge, Nissan etc
Jim from Turf might want to edit his about the crapsman.

    This Year:

    Exmark Turf Tracer 60"
    Scag 36"
    Bobcat 36"
    Bunton 48"
    Echo SRM-2400
    Echo PB-650

Jim at TURF Magazine here. You're right. I should not be slamming folks ... I was just kidding ... but you are right.

As far as this thread being great exposure for lawnsite ... I will be running this as a column in the January issue (minus my wise cracks) ... and before that ... I'll be faxing a copy to a long list of fine companies who advertise in TURF and who should be sponsoring lawnsite. Hope this will help.

Starting slow and p/t since I had a full time job at a country club. This was my second year (first full year) in business and didn't really do any advertising until the end of the year just to kinda get my name out there. Next year hope to hit the ground running since this is my f/t gig now.

    Gateway computer
    redmax wacker & hh blower
    6.5 x 12 trailer
    2001 chevy 4/4 (now selling)
    3 landscape programs
    pressure washer
    20" stihl chain saw
    48" exmart walk behind

    Next year:

    8 something bobcat
    tc35 new holland w/ hydrostat
f450 w 4/4 diesel (should be coming in two weeks)
    52" lazer
    fertilizer spreaders
    new accounts?!?!
