I think it would be great to haul everything around, but for me , I rarely ever need hedge trimmers on the regular week, I schedule them for a specific day and do 2 or 3 that day. I wouldn't carry all that on an open unless you can lock it. If i get an enclosed, ill carry everything in it, but with my open, its mower, trimmers and blower. I mow more commercial, so I also have a trash can on the trailer.

I'm like RCS. I only take what I have to. Extra weight means less gas mileage. Besides my mowers and handhelds I carry:

Dixie Chopper XT2800 60"
Ferris SD 36"
Craftsman Limited Edition 21" with Honda engine
GrassPacker grass catcher
1 Shindaiwa T-230
1 Stihl FS80R
1 Stihl FC95
1 Stihl BR600
2 5 gal straight gas
1 1 gal Amsoil 2 stroke gas mixed at 80:1
1 bucket?
A couple of extra lengths of trimmer line
A basic toolkit
1 5lb BC fire extinguisher
Ear plugs
1 bright yellow safety vest
1 orange traffic cone
Tire plugs
12 volt air compressor
1 pair Felco 400 hand pruners
1 drywall saw (makes a great tree saw)
1 hand tree saw
Extra Amsoil Sabre 2 stroke oil
Mini jumper cables
Business cards

I have been using a '95 F250 tool truck, it's really really nice, I can put tons of stuff in it. I usually add to the necessities:

Shovels, rakes, loppers, hand pruners, treesaw, hacksaw, small fert spreader, bag or two of fert, jumper cables, tons of handtools, utility knives, rachet sets, wrenches, nuts, bolts, nails, rolls of tape, quarts of oil, both 4-cycle and 2-cycle, emergency 1 gal gas can, extra tie-downs, tire-pump, contractor bags, trimmer string, extra spark plugs, starting fluid, bee spray, etc.

Really nice to temporarily fix something to get me through the day. But I will be mostly using a regular truck with a cap this year, we'll see how long it takes to get used to.

Like Rich said, business cards are a must! I have them on me at all times, even at 5 in the morning plowing snow, Im giving them out and getting more drives, which in turn leads to more yards in the summer!!!

For mowing? Mowers, trimmers, blowers, gas. In a small toolbox screwed to the trailer I bring basic hand tools, extra trimmer heads w/line, 2 stroke oil, pruners, wd40, maybe other stuff.

Inside the truck I have a tow strap, first aid kit, jumpers, duct tape. Also a pen, paper, receipt book, business cards, gps. Ear plugs or worktunes, safety glasses.
