Care to elaborate with some logic or facts? Or are you going to just keep making vague assertions?
Could there really be liability issues with an employee who has been high on his own time as it can stay in system up to a month?
You run DOT?
Then call your insurance agent and ask them what happens if an employee causes a claim with weed in his system.
I'm sure you already have done this though.
The liability is just too great.
Medicinal MJ is legal in Meechigan, doesn't mean my insurance company likes it. And they don't.
Neither do my customers. I have customers that require me to perform background checks. And have stricter driving infraction requirements than my insurance.
Like ZC said, call your agent and ask. I have.
And remember. Weed is still illegal at the federal level, no matter what your state says.
