I've come up with some new business names for next year, I might like to go with the last name idea since I'm mostly going to be servicing lawns in my neighborhood, and some of my customers might know my name already, or might be able to remember it easily since I live near them. This might also make them feel more comfortable in a way since I live right down the road.

Or.... I could go with the names that don't include a last name.

I also am not sure how I want to label myself such as SomeName Lawn Care... or SomeName Lawn & Landscape Or SomeName Lawns Maintenance. I am more into mowing lawns, but I would also like to do a lot of other things such as mulch, installing plants, maybe trimming bushes/shrubs, etc.

So Here are some of the names that I like...

    Jacob’s Lawn Care
    Jacob’s Lawn & Landscape
    Jacob’s Lawn Service

    Clean Cut Lawn Services
    Clean Cut Lawn Care
    Clean Cut Lawn Service
    Clean Cut Lawn & Landscape

    Grenoble Lawns
    Grenoble Lawn Service
    Grenoble Lawn & Landscape

    Cutting Edge Lawn & Landscape
    Cutting Edge Lawn Care
    Cutting Edge Lawn Service
    Cutting Edge Lawns

    Evergreen Lawn & Landscape
    Evergreen Lawn Service
    Evergreen Lawn Care
    Evergreen Lawns

So basically Grenoble, Evergreen, Clean Cut, Jacob's, and Cutting Edge, but I would be PLEASED to have any more suggestions. :) Evergreen, Clean Cut, and Cutting Edge seem very common to me (I know there are a few in NC), so again any suggestions would be appreciated.

What do you guys think, what route should I go, Last name or none, Lawn Service, Lawn Care, Lawn & Landscape? (I think this sort of has to fit the name too though).

Thanks in advance So much for the help and opinions guys!

God be with you and all of those in Haidi, both victims and relief efforts

So you guys think I should go with the last name or go with a more original name (not last name).

    Thanks for the replies!

Every jockey out there is ... lawn & landscape, ... lawn maintenance, ... lawn care. Set yourself apart and think of something original, your company name is the first thing prospects hear about you, (usually). I'm actually going to change my name to WG Landscape Contracting, LLC. mainly because I want to improve the professional name of the company, good thing I haven't lettered my truck and trailer yet :D

I've been toying with the idea of making my lawn mowing division called "Lawn Gnome lawn care" Like the Travelocity gnome guy? have your logo be a little lawn gnome with a pointy hat mowing a lawn or something....kinda catchy? or...."The Lawn Gnomes"

Lol, that's gotta be so copywrite, lol. It would be sort of catchy though.

Any other thoughts about my names? I've sort of narrowed it down to Grenoble lawns, Grenoble lawn and Landscape, etc. Do you think Thats the right way to go?
