I bought the cheaper stuff from tractor supply last season but I don't think it works that great. A 5% mix took too long to kill and didn't seem to fully kill either. Should I actually spend the money on Roundup??

Their is a simple little trick that will increase the efficacy of any systemic pesticide, add a small amount of humic acid and yo can reduce the rate of pesticide by up to 25%.

I've tried the Ultra Kill brand from a box store. It works good enough for 1/3 the price. Depends on how high end your clientele is, I suppose.

Of course you could buy the concentrated or super concentrated Roundup and make your own concentrations as needed, lighter for grasses and stronger for woody plants. Expensive at first but very cheap in the long run.

One Oz per gallon Household White Vinegar will work just as good as humic acid. BTW Vinegar is a lot more accessible and cheaper than Humic Acid.

I get GlyStar as well from Agri-Supply. But as said before, all the 41% stuff has done fine for me. Throw a little dishwashing liquid in there to help if you need to.

Never tried it. Humic acid ratio is only one once/ten gallons water, then reduce the amount of Gly by 25%. At $26.00 a gal humic acids are pretty cheap. But yes, you can't buy it in a grocery store. :)
Humic acids also increase the efficiency of liquid ferts.

Yes and 1/5 of a pound of 21-0-0 will decrease Roundup response time by an even great ratio. But then Snake oil will cure cancer and diabetics while saving the environment.
