What is ericaceous compost?

    OK, there is another post asking about something dealing with this type compost. For myself and others I am sure... it might help a little to know what this is exactly.

    I will do my research and post the answer, just making it available to others.

    OK, from what I understand, couldn't find a definition of ericaceous compost, ericaceous compost is a high acid compost. Used for plants that like high acid soils.

    I gather this means more cost.

    yep, just a custom blend thats target specific, we have 1 bed thats all it turns out, the PH can go as low as 4
