what is the best software

    I"m just getting started in the lawncare business.
    I'm wondering what is the best customer tracking and estimating software.

    Without a doubt Quickbooks Pro!!! been using it for over 15yrs. It does everything.

    I second Quick books pro, and most accountants are Quick books based.

    If you want to run a serious marketing machine, and do everything via your computer, then Lawn Assistant III, see it at www.realgreensystems.com you can market your business though it you cant do that with QB's.

    I use Groundskeeper Pro and really like it. You can download a free trial online. I don't have any experience with quick books pro so it might be better. All I know is it was the best $400 I spent this year.

    Quickbooks in conjunction with qxpress and qxmobile. Very similar to Realgreen, but made for smaller companies.

    once quickbooks is set up its a breeze
