What is the compression?

    Hi to all.
    I wounder if you guy can help me.

    First.- What is the compression on Kawasaki 12.5 hp FB460V

    Second.- How to do the compression test
    I have a auto tester, when I try it show like 40 psi

    Any help will be appreciate:D

    40 psi sounds low. Make sure you turn over the engine a few times. As long as the auto tester is not leaking you should be fine.

    For your replied, I agree with you 40 psi is to low, I was hoping somebody knew the right psi.

    40 PSI??? It think your Kawi is DOA

    Does that thing even run? I know in a car engine if you don't have at least 90 PSI it won't light off.

    ACR is a device that opens the exhaust valve briefly right after the intake valve closes. It enables you to pull start the engine.

    That being said the minimum compression should be 71 psi.
