What is this on my engine?

    Agreed, I'm pretty sure my Gravely has one of those too but not real sure.

    Really is is where the starter would go if it were electric start. My walkbehind has one too.

    Exactly right. It gives you time to crack open a soda and think about what you did and how to get it rolled back over. It was def nice of Kawasaki to build that feature in. They think of it all over there.
