Wouldnt work here 95% of the time. Way too many gates, most a tight 36".

EXmark 60" Turf Tracer about 85%; 48" turf tracer 10%;Toro Timemaster 5%.
60 lazer on everything but a few back yards with gates then a 36 or the 30. Seems like everyone in my area runs a 60.
Surpising thought more people would be using 60" mowers. Thanks
Nature of tract home building these days. More home, less land. The standard here is quarter acre with fifth not un heard of. 8ft between homes is norm. Add the flatwork and a pool you end up with 4k of turf maybe. Takes longer to edge ,trim and blow. The new norm. Funny thing is the people with big one acre lots don't want to pay more than the tract homes. Trick is getting big blocks in the same community. Got to bring your a game sales tactics and be ready to think long term. Full service is key to wringing all the profit from an area.

This is a helpful post. None of my clients are on the same street. How to get more clients on the same street!?
There is the key gates.
Why I wont do lawns with gates that my 60'' wont fit in There no money to be made if I have to use a smaller mower at the market prices around here.
I target bigger lawns, like yesterday I only mowed 2 lawns 4 man crew 11 hrs and took home close to 3k mowing with 3- 72 1-60 and my ditch/slope mower its a 60''
I like big lawns, I can be at one spot and not driving around all day
I wonder how many little lawns would take to make 3k in one day
Be noway I could do 100 lawns for $30 in a day or 75 lawns at $40 in a day
Just to be different...
I actually use the 21" more than the 36" for a variety of reasons.
Exmark Turf Tracer S Series 48 and an Exmark Commercial 21
Looking into adding a 60 inch z and 36 inch hydro walk next year. I need something bigger for my larger properties and something more productive than a 21 for my gated properties. Always liked Scag, Gravely, Toro and Exmark Zs and the Scag SWZT is actually warming up to me surprisingly.
