What kind of pulleys does Toro use?

    Split steel? Cast steel? Their site doesn't specify, so I'm thinking probably cast steel...

    Yep, cast steel. Not as nice a setup as scag, but still a nice spindle assembly.

    Do you have a Toro? If so, have the pulleys done ok for you?

    Yes, we just switched to them so, I can't really say how they hold up. They are much nicer than stamped steel, just not as sturdy as scags with the 2 piece tapered pulley.

    From what I can tell looking at my Toro 36" WB, there is no way to grease the pulleys/spindles. Is this correct? If so, how long do these usually last before the bearings seize up?
