I have two mid-mount grasshoppers and a 36" walk-behind JD. I'm thinking I'm gonna have to step up to an 18' trailer. Can I cram all of my mowers on a 16'? I have a 14' right now and even that is difficult to manuever in some situations.

How big a pain is an 18' for turning around. Does the back edge drag when pulling in and out of drives where there is an incline?

    I don't think 16 would do,I fit 1 w/b,1 61"turf tiger,1 42"riding mower turn'd sideways on tail.Grasshopper mid-mounts are shorter than turftiger,they may fit,but it would be real full.I had a 12ft single,then jumped to 16tandom.Pro's and cons for manuvering and ride.I don't think 2ft onto mine would make any difference in handling.

you can fit it on the 16 however it will be very tight. go with the 18, makes a big difference, that way if you have something extra its ok.

got a 28 footer and always looking for more space......we can fit one walkbehind and 3 turf tigers on it....... get as much space as you can afford, the space will fill up quick.

I was looking at a 18' trailer today and it doesn't seem like it would be too difficult to get used to. I like to pull into some of my customer's drives that are set back from the road quite a ways. I'll be parking it on the side of the road with that extra 4'.

I can't wait to finally have some BRAKES on an axle. I figure one axle with brakes will be adequate.

Wow 28' thats WAY to big for here, you could NEVER turn it around in some of the places i go.

I would go with the 18 if i were you.

I have a 10' now and I am considering a 14' later this season. This should be enough space for a 36" wb and a lazer right?

I can fit my 48 JD WB and my midmount hopper on my 14' with a little room left for clippings if need be. I also have 4' sides so without them the JD could hang out the front a little more for even more room.

I have an 18" (21" with the tongue) but it is extra wide inside dimension. I can put a front mount Grasshopper and a front mount White ZTR (Old) and still have room for some 21" mowers and a Cub Cadet Vac. It's all in how you arrange them, try different set ups.
