Went in the rental store today to return some equipment. Came out owning a bluebird power rake w/ catcher ($250.00) and a bluebird verticut seeder ($350.00 new motor). Both are in decent shape and I think I got a good deal on them what do you guys think???:blob4:
  2. A local rental place plans to sell their powerrake too. I plan to be first in line.
I hope I get a good of a deal as you did!

sounds like a good deal! do you have any idea about its history, do they take good care of there equip? a lot of hours? were they having a sale or did u ask to buy it?

I actually tried to get him to sell me an aerator, he laughed and said maybe at the end of the season. Then he said he just got some new equipment in and would be rotating his stock. Showed me what it was and I took both of them. I'm sure they have lots of hours but they take very good care of their equipment, strip, clean and grease them every time they come back.

Sounds like you hit a jackpot to me if they're in good shape.
