What octane gasoline do you use in your 4 cycle engines?
87 does nicely. no need for more.
I run 87 thats what it calls for so thats what it gets anything else your throwing away your money
87 in everything. If higher octane does anything, I guess I don't know what I'm missing.
According to the Dixie Manual, the Generac motors thrives best with 89...I run only 89 in that mower and the Ferris Walkbehind...87 for the trimmers with oil mix
87 in everything...
Was running 87 in the 23 horse and was getting too much dieseling at shut down, went to 89 octane and it seems to be much better. Once the heat backs off a bit it'll be back to 87 though.
if the motor acts a little weak, i pee in the tank to give it a lil octane boost:blob1:
87 only... I don't have money to " burn ".....
I use 89.....had problems with popping at shutdown. 89 got rid of it.
