I live in Rhode Island and planning on overseeding next week. Irrigation is being installed this week. I think its the perfect time to aerate, slice seed(rent from home depot), and top off with worm castings. I also plan on soaking the seed in a compost tea and dispersing the left over tea on the lawn. Can anyone recommend seed for the area I live in. Has anyone ever heard of Norther Turf grass seed from gardens alive. Its expensive and I dont know if its worth it.

I just recieved my compost tea in the mail from ICT. Can anyone recommend if I should soak the sead in the compost tea prior to slit seeding, or just apply after the seed is in the ground?
