Before march I'm looking at getting a enclosed for the convience and to stop hear my mom bitc*ing about all my lawn stuff in the garage and it being a mess I'm leaning towards a 8.5x18 but a 20 and 16 are also in consideration as of right now I have a 60 z 52 stander and all the push mowers and other crap I need I plan to add a 36 stander and Mabey one of those new 30 push mowers by toro until I get the 36 but I don't want the trailer to be crowded and want to have room to move around in the enclosed my question is what sz would best suite me?

I went from a 6.5x14 enclosed to an 8.5x18 w/ vnose. I have a 32" walkbehind, 48" walker ghs, 46" lazer z, two push mowers and other crap. Some days i wish it was 24' long.

    well I have a 7' x 14' right now.

it has a truck box mounted inside the front then I have a 36" walkbehind, a 21 incher and a 52" grandstand and room to spare behind that.

sometimes I do wish it was 16' but I have room to walk around just fine.

even when I had a 60" ztr in there as a loaner I had room to move.

Mine are 8.5 x 20. One's a gooseneck. Any longer could be a problem in some of the places that I have to turn around in. A gooseneck could be 22 or 24 and be ok.

I have a 7x16 v nose. My v nose I turned into a cabinet and work bench. I can still fit my walker 36" GHS and a 36" WB. Trimmers are on the walks. Walking in the sides can be tight sometimes, wish I had a 8ft wide but oh well

my father runs an 8 x 16 with 5200lb axles it was great when he first got it but quickly out grew it so when i bought mine i went with an 8.5 x 20 i bought mine used with 3500lb axles wish it had the 5200 but the price was so good i couldnt pass it up (got him down to $1,350) It needed a little work i probably have 1700 in it total. but the 8.5 wide is a must if your going to hang on the walls in my opinion. and i like the 20 it is a little big right now but im sure i will grow into it. my father is starting to look around for an 8.5 x 20 with 5200 or 6000 axles now thinking of upgrading

i should note the 7 footer i have has tons of stuff hanging on the walls and i have plenty of room to move around. before that i had a 6 footer and still had about the same amount on the walls and never had problems moving around.

definitely go with 5200 lbs axles.

my 6 x 12 had 3500 lbs axles and i bent one and didn't know it until i noticed my tires wearing on the inside and before i could attend to it i blew a tire on the highway. thats when i upgraded to the 7 x 14 trailer and i thought it had the 5200 lbs axles on it but it didn't because i noticed the inside tire wear on it as well. i just upgraded to the 5200 lbs axles the end of last season. also went with torsion suspension. should be pretty nice this season.
