Recently I was scanning the local paper want ads.I came across an add for a lawn service offering a $50 reward for customers to sign up for the season. WHAT THE HELL. WHAT DOES EVERYBODY ELSE THINK. PLEASE CHIME IN.
They probably get that back some how through the season. As long as they are keeping the price market in line (LOWBALLING) I call it advertising. It could burn him with the right tire kicker.
simple advertising and marketing. set up a grabbing ad for "$50 reward". make sure no one gets anymoney until contract is signed. charge an extra $2 in your bid then you will make your money back over the year with say 35 cuts! you arent really losing any money
If done right and with a yearly agreement and a exit clause in the agreement it could be a productive ad. It is just a marketing technique and as stated before it must have been a catchy ad
