If it was the one that I drove at the show it was a nice piece of equipment. They had the only one in Ohio. Didnt get to cut with it but I would bet it cuts nice and it better for the price they will be asking.

The word on the street is that they are awesome machines.
Can't go wrong with a diesel especially a Yanmar, as I have one in my John Deere 750 tractor and it has given me 0 problems. If you are going to use this beast on residential lawns, make sure that you can justify spending that much. I have a 777 60" and it is a great machine. The quality of cut is unrivaled in my opinion. I was going to trade my 777 in this year for the 797 but have decided to hold off and just add a stander to the fleet. Besides I got a good deal on it and it is still like new with only 185 hours on the clock.

best of luck to all this season :waving:

Just wondering? Can you Deere owners tell me the diff between the JD stander and GD stander. I recently purchased a GD SS Gen II I will be picking it up this weekend. I know that Deere bought GD. But that's it. Will it be the same quality that I know Deere has. Also, is JD going to keep GD open. Have you seen the Deere shops working on Great Danes.
