I was wondering what time is the best time to aerate.
Where I am, fall.
Where you are, I would still say fall.
I went to the Texas A&M site and they have it broken down by grass type found the site to be helpfull. For the bermuda and St. Agustine we have in these parts they recomend august through october. Your local A&M school or extension office could help.
That's interesting Galagers
That is the similar time frame for cool season grass as well.
Which A&M site did you view? I tried a search and got everything but the A&M ag center. Would you mind pasting the address on here? I'd love to see the ino on grass types and aerating. Thanks.
What are the benefits of aeration?
Here's a link to the Lawn and Landscape Magazine on the benefits of aeration.
Link didn't seem to work for me. Here is another.
That is a fantastic magazine. Love reading it.
