    Hi guys,

I like to know if you use your dumptruck for hauling what should I charge. And do I charge loading the truck extra. I have a customer who has a big pile of brush she wants me to haul away.

I charge $100 for disposal plus some for loading...depending on how long it will take, usually $50-$75 to load.

    You have to figure:

Your travel time to job site
    Time to load the truck
    Travel to dump site
    Fuel, vehicle maintenance costs

I agree with PSU on this. all of those factors should play into your final price.

    Every hauling job is different.

What size is your dump truck?

Obviously it would cost more for a fully loaded 20 yd truck than a fully loaded 6 yd truck..

Around here a tri-axle is getting $80hr with driver. But you can get that with a 6 yarder working residentials.
I always charge by the job. If you break the price down the customer will question your rates.
Just estimate your time and charge accordingly. Where in CT are you from?
