Tto begin with, I am licensed in the state of Ohio to apply chemicals. I am new to this side of the business so I am looking for some help.

I have customers wanting to sign up. Many of them already have dandelions and other weeds in their lawns. should I still apply a pre-emergent this late into the season or use a post emergent to attack already rooted weeds?

A pre-emergent won't do anything for the dandelions, just the crabgrass and other grassy weeds. I would spray for the broadleaf weeds and use a pre-emergent with fertilizer for the rest of the lawn. (Dimension)
