What to look at in dealer support?

    So I went to the local Ferris Dealer today. I’m looking at purchasing a 36” stand on and a 61” ZTR.

    First think I asked is if my mower goes down will they give a loaner or demo to keep me going. The salesman looked at me like I was crazysaid “I don’t think so, do people do that?” I know the look on my face was priceless. I said well John Deere has a deal for commercial guys (Businesses) that if it takes more than an hour to fix they loan you one.

    He said let me go ask then comes back and said “No we don’t do that anymore because mowers got torn up.”

    Me: So if my mower goes down then I’m down until it’s fixed.

    Salesman:You only have one mower?

    Me:No, but if I have more than one then that means I need them. So what if I did just have one, I would have to just sit home an wait for it to be fixed?
