This is directed to really people familiar with the climate of texas and native texas plants, and to those who work in the area. I was just wondering what type of mixes u all use for planting perennial gardens and such. Or more to the point of ratios of different soils for a good mix of soil for planting.

    thanks for any info

I use a mixture of different soils depending on the plants. You might try John Dromgulls (sp) store the Natural Gardener. It is in south Austin--71 and SW Pkwy. They have some great mixes already done up.
