what type of weed and feed can be used now

    I live in md and a customer asked to put down weed and feed.. his lawn is about 15-20% weeds... i am licenced. but with the weather so hot want can be used that's going to work good?

    jeff, its not the "weed" that will react with the heat, but the "feed" that will do damage. i would use confront without fertilizer

    I have to somewhat contradict you here. The 'weed' has been shown to stress grass plants, but under normal conditions, the lawn is able to withstand this stress (This is why control will yellow new grass) . When the lawn is under heat stress, the added stress of the weed control could be detrimental. I 'think' there is a recommended temperature limit printed on most bags.

    Lescos' Three Way.." Do not spray when temperatures are above 85 degrees.'

    Shaws Trimec...." Do not apply when temperatures are above 85 degrees."

    ive applied confront, in heat, didnt lose a blade of grass

    I agree, go with the confront. It's great. On some weeds you will have to give it 3-4 weeks to see the results.:D

    What does Confront cost per K???
