What was your top ten expenses for 03'? These are mine.

1. Equipment 18.30%
2. Gas (Fuel) 13.21%
3. Misc. (tools, uniforms, etc) 12.61%
4. Employee Fed Tax 10.27%
5. Vehicle Expense 7.93%
6. Insurance 7.20%
7. Office Supplies 4.79%
8. Telephone 4.77%
9. Advertising 3.68%
10. Cell Phone 3.66%

So far as of right now my top three for 2004 are:
1. Advertising 11.77%
2. Fuel 11.43%
3. Equipment 10.27%

Are you sure the wife is only the top two? I would think that wives would be the top three at least

Equipment (acquisitions over $500 each) per se is not a line expense item on a P&L Statement...it's a journal entry that shows up on other reports. If you are talking about normal everyday parts and service to maintain and upkeep the equipment, then that is an a expense.

Equipment is depreciated, expenses are not...

I am talking about the expeneses for the year. So equipment would be an expense for the year. If I bought it in 03, then its an expense.
