Anyone know what will kill wild violets? Momentum seems to turn them yellow but don't think it will kill them.

Try adding spreader sticker at the highest rate 3 pts per 100 gals. Also there is a product called Quicksilver that Lesco sells , that is labeled for Wild Violets. If you read the label Momentum is not labeled for Wild Violets.

Quicksilver is very effective against violets. The AI is carfentrazone. Mix with a threeway or pay a little more and buy it mixed alreadya s a product called Speedzone made by Gordon

Quicksilver works well on them. Sometimes a second app. is necessary to get decent control.

    I use a mix of Quicksilver/ Three-way.

I hear good things about "Confront", but I have not used it.

Speedzone works but I have found that you have to also use a surfactant and you will possibly have to do multiple apps (2) over a 2 week period. I think wild violets have quite an underground network so make sure you are spraying over a big area to get the entire plant network.

When you sat a surfactant, do you mean something like "Lesco spreader sticker"? or do you mean something like dish soap?

Non-ionic surfactant is much better than dish soap! I use a product called Super shot 40 if just needing surfactant. A humic baced product. If need a sticker I use Lesco's Spreader Sticker.
