I'm going to deliver and place 12 yrds of red mulch in beds for one of my customers. What seems to be the going rates with jobs this size in other areas around the states? I already have my set price but just for infor purposes I would like to know.
  2. Cost of mulch, tax, delivery + 15%
Without seeing site : 6-8 hours labor
    no bed prep figured

Bed prep for 12 yard area (leaf and junk removal) $50.00

    Mulch delivered $35.00 Yard

Instalation of twelve yards in reasonably easy access areas. $384.00

    Edging (extra)

Understand this is all sight unseen so give or take some.

That job around here goes for about $600 +tax +delivery fee. Mulch is not too expensive here. It's about $13 per yard for me.

I charge $80 per yard installed and delivered. But I will add fees for bed prep and/or extra labor if it's a real pain to get to.

So for me $960 + any additional labor needed

I'd charge between $900-1000 depending on prep work with two men and about 6 hours labor.
