Haven't checked it out yet, and don't know much about the mower if anyone has any imput would love to hear it (things I should be wary of etc). An add that I will be calling sometime tommorrow. Listed for 4500 or BO..

Gravely 260z zero turn lawn mower, 60 inch cutting deck, brand new motor with less than 40 hours, machine itself has just over 300 hours on it. This mower sells for $8000 or more brand new from dealer. I also have a 6 cubic foot aluminum grass catcher that comes with the mower (cost $600 new).

Not real sure what its worth, but please know that you need a 60 " cut before you buy it,as far as ditches and slopes it is different than a 52" i went from a 52" to a 60" and sometimes hate myself for it.it will leave lines quickly in a ditch or slope that a 52 wont, now flat surfaces that lil bit helps,I also have the alum.grass catcher pictured with the extension on the rear. it was quite expensive, goes on and off quickly and works great for leaves, now if you use it on burmuda grass at the end of the season,be prepared to pull grass from everywhere under your clothes lol There is an optional cover to prevent this,Im thinking my basket is the largest and with the extension was a $900 range investment.

Thats great to know, I've never run a 60" before. I know what you mean about smaller mowers, my 52" I can handle like a porsche..60" I'm not to sure about.

That extra 8 " can really cause you trouble as far as leaving lines in yards, i got rid of a 52" z master for a 60" z master that was fuel injected & liquid cooled,i wish i had stayed with the 52" honestly. I since have added the new wright zk (z-killer) and it has a 52" cut and runs like a scalded dog :)

seems odd to me to have to replace that motor with less than 300 hours on it. I would stay away
I have had engines grenade under 200 hours several times for varying reasons - none of which were attributed towards operator error nor maintenance practices.

For a machine like that, without having the opportunity to physically check it out myself - I am hesitant to suggest a price especially since the new equipment prices have come down so much.

Buying used, regardless of the price is a crap shoot when considering warranty support that is lost. If you just had to have it - maybe $4K max.
