I purchased a used lazer Z HP with 52-inch deck 23 hp Kawasaki.
    Model# LHP5223KA
    Serial# 279318
What year was it built? Any information would be Great!
I got it home and started taking it apart, and cleaning every piece and putting it back together, and loving it.
It didn’t need an oil filter change and Hydraulic oil and filter but replaced it also. (Air filter and spark plugs too.) Can oil filter be cross-referenced with another oil company filters, plus hydraulic filter also, and do I need to replace anything else?
Any information would be Great! And appreciated.
I am also looking for any kind of Manual for this unit.

    Thanks Rambo13

    Rambo,

Congratulations. You are now the owner of a 2001 model Lazer HP.

For filters I would recommend only using OEM filters..........especially on the HYDRO. The quickest way to get a manual is to download one from our website at this link: http://www.exmark.com/TechSupport.htm

Let me know if we can be of any further assistance.

    Rambo,

The Gator have their place (you may want to try our Extreme blade, it's very similar) but I would probably limit them to extremely dry grass or leaves. Avoid any wet grass or mornings with heavy due with the Extreme or similar blade profiles.

The manual recommends 13-14 PSI which works pretty good on the LHP and walk behind mowers. I tend to run the full size Lazer tires with 16-18 PSI however.

    Thanks

    Terry
