1995 Chevy w4500 (npr) gas 350 get 8-10 loaded dont know about unloaded I never drive it empty.
31.5 when towing, with my 81 nissan diesel king cab 5 spd towing my 5x10 trailer with two walk behinds and equipment. Ha! Anyone beat that? I use the wifes SUV when towing the dingo

I've had my 6.0 vortec for nearly 2 years now and have put over 25000 miles on it since I purchased it (its up to about 77000 miles). Its a strong engine and very reliable. I've done regular oil changes and things have been going very smoothly with this truck.
I think he was saying that he gets terrible mileage? I took it as "wow you guys are getting miles per gallon? I am measuring by gallons per mile" like as a joke maybe? Not sure though

Loaded-18 MPG (5500 LBS.)
Unloaded- 22-23 MPG
2000 Chevrolet 3500 cabover, 5.7l engine with 18' box getting 11 MPG and Im happy with that, one heck of a nice truck for this business.
