Wheat grass?

    Yes, I had top soil brought in. Someone I work with mentioned that it must have been the soil too. Freaking soil! This makes perfect sense too...and that it comes out int he heat. The few spots that really didn't have much of this grow was the spots in the shade that don't get any direct sun.

    Difinitavely identified this as Barnyard grass. I wound puled it all out by hand (14 32-gallon cans worth) and sprayed a product to kill crabgrass (which also listed barnyard grass) to get any small sprouts left behind. A pre-emergent will prevent it from sprouting next year.
