When do you bid on commercial jobs in the early spring? Im in memphis TN. Spring hits us right around the mid to end of march.
I know a few brand new buildings that are finished and have new turf down That has not been cut yet. What do I do to bid on the jobs?

I bid whenever they call asking for a bid.

If your not getting any calls then go introduce yourself, ask for a manager and hope they will let you bid it when they start accepting bids.

How do they know to get in contact with me if they were doing a bid.
I thought it was a time a special time in the early spring? I'm not licensed yet. I'm just planning ahead of the game. I will get my business trademarked and licensed either gen or early to mid march.

How do you know who to contact for a home loan?

The same applies to lawncare. It’s a biz.

I know that but.. I'm not registered or licensed as a lawn care business owner.
My business is not on any social media or lawnstarter.

Then I suggest you not even try for commercial accounts since it's a requirement. Get your business license and insurance first then work on commercial accounts.

excellent point. It seems a lot of people take bids in the fall and others take bids after the 1st of the year. They are bombed with calls so going to meet people like mentioned above is a great way to network and hopefully get an in. Keep trying every year and be professional about your follow ups.
